Dear friend,

You know the ease and relaxation that comes when we are no longer preoccupied with image, pride, shame or artificiality?  We invite you to spend time with us at the end of the path, in a place that is free of all pressure and obligation, a place that simply can’t get better. Join us on a 5 day retreat at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York from October 10 - 15.

Peter Fenner, an innovator in the field of nondual psychotherapy is your guide as you journey to this place of deep stillness and natural serenity. Through playful yet penetrating dialogue and effortless contemplation, you experience the easy dissolution of difficult emotions and limiting beliefs, and taste the experience of natural contemplation, where meditation happens all by itself.

Everything is accomplished without doing anything at all. You discover how to enter and stabilize effortless being so it flows through all your actions: sitting, walking, talking, working, and playing. You will return home with a deeply embodied recognition of your own true nature and a greatly enhanced capacity to live from this state in daily life.

In the nondual traditions awareness itself is said to be the ultimate medicine, the ultimate healer. In this sense, the only thing we need to be fully satisfied and complete is to be aware. All other conditions in our lives can change, but we can still be whole, integrated and complete.

In this audio recording, Ron Stewart describes how the Radiant Mind book and course helped him to recognize the healing power of unconditioned awareness during his time with cancer.

An excerpt from that recording:

...I was told that I had only weeks or a few months to live and every time I met with another doctor the news became more specific and in a sense, more dire. And the interesting thing was that in each one of those three occasions as soon as the doctor began talking with me about my condition and the prognosis, I just spontaneously entered this deep state of peace in which what I was hearing and was discussing with the doctor was perfectly okay with me. I had no problem with it. And upon reading those questions in the book and Peter asking the question “have you ever experienced unconditioned awareness?”, having just read those first few chapters of the book and read Peter’s description of unconditioned awareness, it dawned on me that yes, in fact I had, in a very profound and peaceful way.

The Radiant Mind Audio Course:

When I began to using the audio version of Radiant Mind I experienced a new dimension that isn’t available in the book. That new dimension is Peter’s voice. Listening to him explain Radiant Mind and lead me through his deep considerations was a transforming experience for me. I don’t see how anyone could listen to these CDs and not have some experience of Radiant Mind. There were times when I finished listening to a CD and I wasn’t sure I had heard anything and yet I was left in a state of thoughtless no-thing-ness. They have had a great influence in the transformation from separation to resting in unconditioned awareness.  I recommend that anyone interested in exploring Radiant Mind listen to the audio course, even if you have read the book. I’m sure you will enjoy the experience.
Ben Hursh, Anacostes

Image of Radiant Mind Book Whether it is called enlightenment, pure awareness, or "unconditioned awareness," there exists an awakened state of pure liberation that is at the heart of every contemplative tradition. According to Peter Fenner, this experience of boundless consciousness does not have to exist separately from our day-to-day, "conditioned" existence...
